PSG will travel to Ajaccio on Friday without five key players. Neymar and Sergio Ramos are suspended and Danilo Pereira, Presnel Kimpembe, and Nuno Mendes are out injured.
PSG without Neymar, Danilo, Kimpembe and Sergio Ramos
The list of suspended players is growing at PSG and is almost catching up with the list of long-term injuries. Sergio Ramos, suspended for two matches following his red card at Reims, is joined by Neymar, who has three yellow cards and less than ten matches. The two Champions League winners are absent from the Parisians’ squad when they travel to Ajaccio on Friday evening (9 pm) in Ligue 1.
Reassuring news for Danilo
Danilo Pereira, who suffered an injury during the Classic match on Sunday 16 October (1-0), is logically out of action. The news from the Portuguese is however reassuring. He is expected to return to training in ten days, which would remove any doubts about his presence at the World Cup (20 November-18 December).
Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes are still too short. Four Parisian players are on the trip to Corsica: young defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu (17), midfielders Warren Zaire-Emery (16) and Ayman Kari (17), and attacking midfielder Ismaël Gharbi (18).
